I have said from the beginning that I know nothing about the stock market, and so I am not going to add to the debate about whether this is good, bad, or indifferent.
I do have some good news. this week's Newsweek has a 2 column article with a headline and a picture on ultrafast CT and its advantages for screening for coronary disease. Imatron is not mentioned. There is a comparison to mammograms and an inference that the expense (with proper medical follow-up) could be well worth it. There is also a prediction that the low number of machines (40) and the spotty insurance coverage should be improving.
No info that all of us don't know but a welcome foray into the psyche of the American public. We need lots more of this.
