I was curious as to whether my sense of much lower current volatility was correct, so I loaded last 4 months of closing prices of NTAIF from NASDAQ into an excel spreadsheet. The absolute value of weekly change in stock price was less than 3% for 68% of the days. This represents about 1 std dev based on two tail normal curve. So market is right again and historical data was for much more volatile stock conditions. I have been playing Ntaif by writing out of money puts and out of money calls against my long position since last November. This is a bullish strategy but not aggressively bulllish.
