Christine, you can willfully put your hand in the sand and pretend like there is no waste in the current system. I will however look at the issue of fraud with an open mind.

Christine your attitude reminds me of allot of people's attitude who grew up wealthy. You really don't have a clue what it is like to be poor, and how so many people simply rip off the system for everything it is worth. I grew up 2 blocks from RFK stadium. Trust me when I say, there are a whole bunch of simply lazy people who don't want to get up in the morning and work. To believe as you do that they are all needy because of some unfortunate incident is silly.

Does that mean we should end the school lunch program for the truly needy. No, it should be phased out and the truly needy people should be directed toward food banks and or churches.

Funny, they didn't have free school lunches when I was growing up and yet kids seemed fed. Maybe it's because the average American was taxed a whole heck of a lot less than today, because we didn't have these socialistic wastefull pork-barrel programs.

People were actually allowed to keep more of what they earned.

Maybe we should also guarantee every American a house of their own too. Gee, isn't that just as important as food? How about a job too??

Better yet, why not instead of 4.5 billion a year in school lunches we spend 100 billion. Would everyone be fed then Christine??

The answer is? You guessed it, of course they wouldn't. The only thing we would be guaranteeing is some beauracrat pushing some paper around pretending to feed the needy.

By the way, I NEVER said I was a Christian. My religios belief's are between myself and my God. I simply don't like the way you always slam on Christians.
