Half of Ancor's employees are engineers. This is kind of interesting, since there is not that much specialty FC ASIC talent in the entire world as of now. I may be wrong. Brocade mentioned at the recent BARS conference that there are ONLY a dozen FC ASIC teams in the world and Brocade had three of them. I didn't understand how Brocade had three teams if they were one company?? I assume Ancor, being one of three contending switch makers, has at least one of the teams...maybe they have more? Anyone know?
