It seems that the very strong U.S. dollar, as compared to the Asian currencies, will allow MCD to build their foreign startup restaurants at a fraction of the previous cost. What do you think? ------------------ That's a very good point. Not all Asian currencies have devalued though. IMO the best potential is in China where the RMB vs US$ has been stable. The public there, especially in the east is getting wealthier by the month and American brands and culture are highly regarded. I don't have the exact numbers but I'd bet this part of China has a population rivaling the total US. Something to think about. Best regards,
