Christine, I haven't seen very many people slamming atheists or sun worshipers like yourself here. I may have missed the post though.

The one thing that really disgusts me is the way people use children
to advance their political agenda's. At least be honest and simply say, you prefer the government feeding and housing America's children then their parents.

Haven't you ever wondered why these programs once started balloon into a huge government subsidy? It's not because there is a greater need than ever before, it's because people see the good deal and try their best to bring some bacon home for themselves! This is part of the cause and effect relationship which has existed in socialist countries throughout the ages.

Moving America down that path, disguised as helping children, is just the kind of trickery used by socialist leaders for centuries.

The best way to ensure children get fed is to lower the tax burden on the working poor, and make it easier for people to start a small business.

Some children need our help, and it's a wonderful gesture to think the school lunch program is the answer. In the end, all we will have done is created more problems than it was designed to solve.

But hey, if it's so great an idea to feed every kid breakfast, why not feed them lunch, and dinner too?? And what the heck do they do during the summer break!

Well, we simply need to open the schools and ensure they are properly fed year round huh?
