I was over at the redhat linux url and found a pointer there to CNET and from there to cnet.com A partial quote Finally, during Spring Internet World in L.A., I ran into the Red Hat folks. Passing their booth, I saw out of the corner of my eye a software box labeled Applix. I stopped, did a U-turn, picked up the box, and lo and behold: a full-blown suite of office applications. So I stood around for a while until I could probe one of the techies in the booth about the product and its capabilities. It sounded intriguing. I moved on and mulled. Well Dan Shafer is doing an eval of linux and looks to be using applixware as his office suite. Could give some free publicity to applix.
