I gather from the web page that some of what they do is this:
When television signals are broadcast nationally, first the signal is sent via microwave from the source to a satellite. Then it is beamed throughout the country. CMIC makes equipment to make this possible.

When you use a cellular phone, the signal is transmitted to a local base station and is relayed to more distant stations. CMIC makes equipment for this.
