Rocky, you have been right recently, yes, but you're being too smug about it. You were wrong plenty last year, especially around the time the two bears here were you and Joel Sternberg. Also, you may be right now, but mostly for the wrong reasons. I can't remember many particularly well reasoned arguments last year from you.

I'd say the main reason the stock has plummeted is the $1000 computer, and I don't remember you beating that issue into the ground. We all knew that the cheaper computers didn't include Zips, but I don't think even you had guessed that they would occupy such a large segment of the market now and put such pressure on the box makers to strip down their models. I know I wouldn't have guessed that pricing pressures would become so huge in the PC industry that the $1000 computers would force higher end models to cut components such as Zip drives.

I had always thought that Zips would migrate slowly into the lower end.

It sure looks like I was wrong now.
