Thank you for your honest civil response. It is so pleasurable to communicate with someone that understands respect for others and can verbalize and express their attitudes and feeling without having to resort to snide remarks. I certainly feel the generation gap here. I do believe in manners. I respect what you have said and I know that you have convictions regarding all this but you express them in a way that is not antagonizing to any one and when you disagree you post in a civil manner and yet get your point across without being rude. I appreciate that and the information you have provided me and I thank you.
I agree that Derek Allen's statement about Klenovic and Bunte was valuable information and yes, I agree he should be thanked for that, but his posting what he did about others without giving any proof of wrongdoing was not fair to them and he should have stated why. If he had given me a valid reason for what he said about them st that time,, I probably would have had no argument with him at all because I did not know any of the employees by name at NVID then and I was not going to blindly follow what he said as being truth. I do like to be given proof before I make judgement on anybody's character when I do not know them or have never talked with them.
I kinda felt too that Derek Allen's information was already known and given by someone else before he posted it. He was the first one to post it to this thread. But I did feel like he would have been asked to testify because he did expose it on the internet. I do believe the State offices are thorough in their investigations and were investigating long before it was released. I was chided for saying thatI believed that at the beginning when I said I felt there was no use in doing DD at that time because they were investigating and they were more capable in that respect than I was. I had never had to do DD.
I do feel that the prosecutions decision to use M. Klenovic as their star witness in their case was a chance they took and felt that there could have been others to testify that could possibly have made a difference to the outcome of this trial. I don't know the language of each of the counts, but I believe that if Bunte was not guilty of all he most definitely was of some. I felt he should and would be convicted. Having followed this thread since the early part of fall of 1996 when I invested, I never called the company and never spoke to anyone at the company until their assets were released in June and they were allowed to go forward with new management. Soon after I quit posting on SI due to my disgust that what had been going on since I originally posted was just not going to be discontinued and to this day is still going on and I still am disgusted with it and intend to ignore it.
I agree with you that this thing is not over yet but I believe that everyone will be happy to see it be resolved. And, I do believe that more information is going to come forth and we are going to know more of the whole story. That is what I am waiting for.
Ken, I have no idea of who John Roney is. His saying that Bunte was honest to a fault fell on my deaf ears. I am suspicious of him also and so many of those that pop on and make a few remarks and then are never heard from again. It happened on this board last year and I suspicioned at that time they were using someone else's account.
Now, with the free subscription period going on for a month, and each one being able to post three posts in that month, I have noticed while lurking on other threads a large number of people whose names are new, and some of them are making pretty venacular statements.
In all, this has been an unpleasant experience being on this particular thread, but I realize all kinds of people make up this world and I have just had to learn to ignore them. I do intend to continue to lurk and post when I want to. I have learned much, that is true but I don't intend to invest in any more penny stocks. What I have now will be watched closely and sold as I decide. There are truly so many scams going on in this market, I don't think the authorities will ever catch them all and I don't want to spend my time trying to decide which ones are and which are not or to try to time the market because I just do not have that kind of dedication and don't think I could do it anyway. My real portfolio has been a much more enjoyable experience. Pays dividends too and I like to spend them. My kids can't complain I am spending their inheritance because I usually spend it on them even though they are grown. Bet you know how that goes...vbg
