>>Just added sales of Spice Girls CD's to Iraq alone will pay for the software. Wait, are Spice Girls restricted trade?>>> LOL

>>Have you looked at Lernout en Hauspie (LHSPF)? It's a Belgium company. It's had a very good run and may be getting pricey, but interesting products all bent around speech and language.>> Yes I have. I believe it has had a nice run from the 20s to the 80s in a short period of time. Unfortunately I don't have the time or money to buy these programs and test them out on my computer. I have known about FONX (another speech recognition company) for awhile, but I am leary with its "false" predictions on revenues (as far back as 1996 when I first called the company) and their ever increasing number of shares that are either outstanding/floated, issued to institutional investors for ready cash, or issued in the form of warrants (ie Acuvoice, a current acquisition that should bring in some revenue and the recent agreement with Siemens - 10 year agreement which you can find on EDGAR). I need a calculator to add up all those shares. FONX does seem to have a distinguished board, but names only go so far when it comes to successfully competing in the hi-tech market. Even if FONX has superior speech-to-text technology. There have been rumors floating around about some major announcement in the first part or middle of April (One rumor is the involvement of MSFT). I would definitely tread lightly until something definitive comes out of FONX.

>>This is a computerized process to convert text from language to language.>> Have you heard of ACNFT? Below is a quick excerpt from the ACNFT thread and what the company produces:
ACNTF is an Israeli company which develops multilingal word
processors in Arabic, Hebrew, Russian, and other languages. Present
products include word processors, Web browsers, translation programs.

I assume ACNTF is competing in the same market as LHSPF? This is another company I would like to do a thorough checking up on.

Gotta go and take care
Kurt

PS Still an INVX long.
