Stock wiz made a comment about who is buying. I have been watching (and owning) this for a year or so. Griffith's and Midland have been doing most of the buying for a number of months. They seem to cool off when the price gets up and get busy when it drops. Some conjecture is that they are buying for Placer and now possibly Etruscan - with their buyback scheme. Once the buyback was announced Dominion seemed to get into it for a couple of days but have dropped out of site now. also CT International made a few larger buys last week - don't know who they are. It does seem that there is a buying scheme going on.

Wonder what Robertson Stevens are going to do with their $7.50 option which expires I think April 27 - the option then goes a year later for a buck more.

My guess is that the shares are very tightly held by a few and that the small fry like me just have to wait until Placer are good and ready to move. ONe has to wonder about Placer's shareholders and what they think about the lack of news about this - considering how much money they have spent. Thought that they would be desparate for some good news.

One theory has it that the drilling is now or shortly will be complete and the announcments should come out within a couple of months but that there are some issues to deal with regarding first. Likely that EET are doing the land buying as they are the poor cousins?
