Ramsey, techweb.cmp.com With the announcement, the Korean chip maker appears to be pushing aggressively ahead with its 300-mm migration despite its troubles in DRAMs and other difficulties related to the Asian financial crisis. A few months from now, more 300mm announcement will come out. I'm expecting some from Taiwan. As I have indicated in the past, the race to 300mm is ON. Guess who is the major equipment provider.
