[ GVIL ]

What a shame, The hope was that Apple would buy them to assure a supply of modems and networking products for the reinvigorated Apple. They suffered with Apple's fall from grace and now when the turn maybe coming they apparently are forced to throw in the towel. I don't see any value ... surely you joke about buying!

<Edit> Let me rethink that statement. Apple has a rumored product coming that is to compete with WebTV ... maybe GVIL is refocusing their efforts in conjunction with Apple on this network product and needed to stem the flow of blood while providing Apple with a stable supplier for those modems. Have to check this out a little more.
