ZAP WINS ENVIRONMENTAL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD
SEBASTOPOL, CA (March 31, 1998) ZAP Power Systems (OTC BB:ZAPP-news) of
Sebastopol, California was selected as the Environmental Business of the
Year by The Sonoma County Conservation Council.
ZAP, which stands for Zero Air Pollution, manufactures electric bicycles
and scooters. Studies have shown that because ZAP electric vehicles are
human-hybrids, they can reduce emissions by up to 99% over gas vehicles.
These days with all the talk about cutting carbon dioxide emissions, it is
important to note that for every mile that one avoids driving a gas car,
one can prevent approximately one pound of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.
ZAP's patented electric bikes have also been honored as one of the few
inventions that have made a positive impact on society. ZAP has sold over
9,000 ZAPS to over 60 foreign countries and, with its new outlet in
Shanghai, will start attacking pollution made by conventional gas powered
bikes and mopeds.
ZAP not only manufactures electric vehicles but makes environmental

and packaging products are recycled materials and the packaging material is
