Just to set the record straight, I hereby quote the report verbatim.
"RANDGOLD 'UNLIKELY' TO STILL BE IN EXISTENCE BY YEAR-END

RANDGOLD, the mining house that specialised in operating marginal gold mines, would probably cease to exist before the end of the year, newly appointed chairman Roger Kebble said yesterday.

One possibility was that Randgold could "explore the synergies" between itself and JCI, possibly resulting in a rationalisation. "This is not happening yet, however and it is premature to speculate about exactly how or when any such rationalisation could happen," Kebble said.

Randgold's major shareholder is Consolidated African Mines (CAM) which is controlled by the Kebble family and the African Mining Group through Wit Nigel. CAM is also seeking to acquire a majority interest in the restructured JCI."

Where am I being inaccurate, and why no comment on the change in upper management?
