Hello SBerglowe,

PMFJI, but I wanted to see if i could throw some thoughts into the discussion ...

From what it appears, Chrome will be a new way of transmitting object data from a server to a browser. As described they are transmitting information about the 3-d object to be displayed, and then they allow a local 3-d graphics card draw the object. If Microsoft intends to do this in a proprietary way, then it will be difficult for others to provide support for the new data types. If they are going to provide details, and possibly even propose this as a standard, then I can think of several ways that RealNetworks could use this new technology.

I'm going to be reading more ... we'll see what else I can find ...
