<<<<<<<Question: Is the Japan WEBS trading on AMEX currency-hedged or unhedged? Can it be shorted? i don't think WEBS are hedged--but i am just guessing. usually you pay through the schnozola to get a manager to do that for you---WEBS have low fees. yes you can short them i have been told. too bad we didn't short japan 7 years ago!!
