Hi Alex, sounds like the baby, you and mom, are getting all settled in now. That's great. Although I never went through the colicking stage, I saw some strong willed friends nearly break down over it.

Tough to figure. I guess we're not as smart as we think when it comes to understanding how a baby's brain works. Some people say it's a natural stress reliever, others say it's a vitamin or mineral missing in their foods. I don't think anyone really knows for sure. But it can happen to the best of parents. Sounds like your rolling with it pretty well. Maybe focusing your anger on those teenage kids is a good thing. :-) But you better put away that gun collection. <GG>

My Ryan just turned Five. Such a big boy little kid now! Wants to tell everyone how they should be living their lives. "Dad, you haven't played cars with me in over an hour" As much as I loved that racecar set, it's not quite as alluring as when I first bought it.

The house seems to be always a wreck, especially after their friends come over. I've become quite adept at dodging toys with the lights off though. :-)

Today, I come home a little early to find my 5 year old down the street, my littlest in bed taking a nap, and 5 other neihbors kids watching a video sprawled all over my den, being watched by one of my wife's friends?? I remember when they were very young, like yours is now, how we worried and worried about who was babysitting them. Now we are just grateful if it's a warm body, who can break up a fight and slap some food on the table!

I think I just rent this place at night or something now. :-)

Oh, take a gander at this funny link I found....

Why Men Can't Win

If you put a woman on a pedestal and try to protect her from the rat race, you are a male chauvinist.

If you stay home and do the housework, you are a pansy.

If you mention how nice she looks, it's sexual harassment. If you keep quiet, it's male indifference.

If you try to keep yourself in shape, you are vain.
If you don't, you are a slob.

If you buy her flowers, you are after something.
If you don't, you are not thoughtful.

If you want it too often, you are oversexed.
If you don't, there must be someone else.

If she has a boring repetitive job with low pay, this is exploitation
If you have a boring repetitive job with low pay, you should get off your ass and find something better.
