You can't compare Netscape to Yahoo. Netscape website is popular mostly because of its browser marketshare. Netscape browser marketshare will drop because of Win98. Therefore its brandname is becoming less valuable unlike Yahoo. As far as internet api's are concerned, Netscape has been replaced by Sun. Developers don't care about Netscape anymore. It is not likely Netscape can succeed in selling enterprise software against the likes of Oracle, IBM, Microsoft. Netscape is caught in no mans land. I'm not convinced they even know how to reinvent the company.
