Hey, we have winter. In fact there was snow on the local peaks just in the last week. I can even think of at least six times that we had frost. And, the rains were monsoonal at times this year, 24 of 28 days in February. But, the flowers are blooming, the birds are singin' and the sun has been shining (a lot at least). California has seasons: mudslide (winter), drought (spring), firestorm (summer) and earthquake (fall), but they just aren't always so neatly in order.
