Gary K., money inflow slowdowns pre-April 15th are well documented and are offset by people investing their refunds post April 15th. Short term speculation based on this seems futile. As for the Roth IRA, money will flow into this vehicle all year long for the 98 tax year, leading to a higher than normal "IRA" related inflow. However, I suspect that alot of this money will be transfers from traditional to the Roth, resulting in tax implications, and hence, offsetting any net positive inflows. In other words, isn't all this pretty much a wash?
