A popular product of molecular dynamics is a device called a phosphorImager....It is a device that is very useful in the routine analysis of Biomedical data. It is very expensive and in the current atmosphere of scarce research funds....not many can afford it... It would be interesting to know if this technology is patented...it seems to me that it could be easily copied. Yet i am not aware of anyone else that makes a similar product.
