re CPQ indicating that their recent inventory problem has or is correcting itself would do it.

Greg, the problem I see is that with the DEC acquisition, there are going to be a multitude of opportunities for CPQ to obscure any embarrassing data as part of the merger costs. I'm not stating that CPQ would do that <vbg>, but I think it presents the CFO a heaven-sent opportunity to 'equalize' or 'disappear' short-term negatives. In that light, any statement the company makes regarding its inventory problem may prove very difficult to verify or negate. As for me, I shall carefully scrutinize CPQs next couple of quarterly statements. (FTR, I am long CPQ.)

When asked about CPQ on CNBC this morning, Cramer reiterated his long position on DELL, but said he was almost as bearish short-term as bullish long term on CPQ, and that it would be a good long-term investment for his grandmother.

DELLish, 3.
