Jane, serious question. You posted ...making pro-homosexual Christian straight converts here is about like freezing ice in hot water. I am not an expert on scripture. As I have posted earlier I was raised as a Lutheran. There is much I learned as a child that I still believe and some that I am not sure of. I still very much love Jesus and his teachings. Now I am not trying to start a doctrinal war or insult anyone's belief. But I don't understand how anyone can use Christ's teachings to condemn homosexuals. I understand the old testament condemned it, at least that is what I gather from some other posters. But Christ's message was to love our neighbor as our selves. Christ loved all sinners and died to take away our sins. I can not see how a Christian can reject any of God's creation. I would be very interested in your reasoning. Not Emile's or James' or Shalom's but yours. I am honestly interested. I am asking you because from what you have said about your past we may have gone through similar journies.
