Kent:
I just found this thread and read some of the latest posts. I have been working on a formula that flags an over or undervalued stock. It doesn't apply to all types of companies. I won't get into that now, but I may later cause I need some input there.

This response is to the frequent mention of book value. I had book value in my model but took it out. I may need to know more about the effect of BV on a stocks price. IMO, with the exception of banks, BV will only be used if a company were liquidated. I see you use it as a bench mark. I don't understand why you use criteria that may never be viable ? I certainly would not consider a company if I thought it would be liquidated. What am I missing. Thanks .
