Not to mention MSFT's bid for IBM at $200 per share. MSFT has no interest in IBM's products and services, they are only interested in undermining cooperation between Sun and IBM, thus Java. IBM shareholders are not as gullable as they look when it comes to modern technology, hence the lack of action in IBM's share price.
