Allen-Check EDGAR for US info-Malaysian market will probably be next. >>>BTW, bull, I haven't seen any news on a new secondary offering from Iomega. Can you post the particulars?<<<
By the way, here's a thought for you, Allen. I used to own a mail-order company and the most valuable asset a company has is it's "mailing list." People who want a rebate from IOMG have to mail their info back in to the company, right? Let's say eventually millions of people also register their warranty. With me so far? Now, we know that IOMG has built a factory in Malaysia, and we know MR KE is one slick manueveror, with factory contacts worldwide. What would stop "someone" from developing & manufacturing a zip compatible disk for $1, and then direct marketing them to these millions of zip owners. It could be a one man operation, like mine was, subcontracting out the manufaturing, mailing and fulfillment. Don't think this couldn't happen. It very well might. If you could buy disks for $5, would you? I thought so. |
