John, do you even know what bit swapping means?

There are many patents of which Amati/Stanford U. owns in the DSL arena, you've run into just one, so far.

You must understand that you can manufacture ADSL chips all day long, send modems into trials, but sell one without licensing the proper patents, now you have a problem. As time to actual market sales approaches, you will see more of the same IMHO.
