Henry, this is a very interesting subject. We take the gloves off.
Our ungloved hands must then touch unclean subjects which Paul first of all did not tell us to LOVE, but to not even talk about them.
This may be the rarest opportunity I will ever have to clearly and succinctly attack a subject which has now been so clouded that one must walk through the discussion like a fire, eyes shut and gasping for breath until you can get back into fresh air.
Something is insane in these last days, and that's all I know. I feel the growing insanity of thought, but can't pin it down.
My premise is that the activity is about sex. Period. Having sex period. With, and only with, people with the same body parts.
If this is NOT insane, what is insane?
And if one can only "love" someone with the same body parts, is that not primarily for the purpose of somehow managing to pretend that they are actually the OPPOSITE sex, and simulating activities known from the Garden to be wonderful and inevitable between people whose natural, and I repeat NATURAL, God given instinct is for people with DIFFERENT bodies and body parts.
To take the DEVIANT (read the Websters) lust and hold it up as a "minority" grouping, based souly on persons who can only become sexually aroused around people with the same body parts, and make this
perversion of nature a "legally enforced and protected lust" that deserves and will have by act of law full respect of all Christians, or the Christians will very soon either shut up or be standing in civil court looking at a fine or jail for "A HATE CRIME"...
Well, God said to me, the king has no cloths on here. I said, yes, Lord, I noticed immediately.
I do not look at practicing heroin addicts dragging into church and playing at salvation every month a brother. I still see them or her as someone who won't let go of satan's world. I see the guy who hangs around bars and sleeps around with bimbos--the difference between a lot of bars and a lot of churches is that both are a lot of fun, women and men wear scanty, sexually appealing clothing, there is a lot of dancing and laughing and flirting, but in one you buy beer, in the other you don't. So, it's hard to draw the distinction in the mind why one is soooooo bad and the other isn't.
I don't embrace that person either. I pray for them and tell them honestly that it isn't going to work. But I don't pretend with them.
Nor did I pretend with myself. Nor did I masquerade and come and go, wallowing in my sins and loving them,, and then picking up the Bible and marching around getting praise of men for looking and sounding "so spiritual".
I told everyone that I was in a backslidden period and to pray for me--when I could drag my sorry fun-having self to church. Which was not very often. Was having just too much fun to spend the time.
But again, I do not put finding the opposite sex as naturally designed to be attractive to me, to be attractive to me to be the sin of murder.
Actually, it is rather normal.
The problem as we all know, is that you can't have your "sin" and God. The word sin means "that which separates you from God." God has designed male-females to be able to sleep with each other and do all those fun activities with each other ONLY IN THE STATE OF DIVINE MATRIMONY.
All other hetero activitiy is plain and simple sin.
All homosexual activity is plain and simple deviant lust for the sake of deviant lust, period.
Now the whole insanity is shifted around to blame God. Now HE'S the one that is making them born to have a deviant sexual lust only for people with the same body parts.
Lust and deviation does not belong IN church. That's what you leave outside the door. Or have a mixed bag which gives off such unclean
vibes that a true Christian is repelled by the spirits in the room.
Or let some of us continue to drift away from it all and don't worry about us being thrown into hell for not embracing what they consider to be a growing social madness, leading to the rule of the Anti-Christ, who will be the mind of satan himself, and who is the very author of homosexual drives, which the Lord has so definitely
spoken against in the O.T. and New. In the O.T. I believe that those who went looking for sex with people with the same body parts were taken outside the camp and stoned to death, weren't they?
Not a lot of tolerance there on the part of the Heavenly Father of Jesus Christ.
But because our country is growing in homo stats daily, this is a question that must be addressed, and I very seriously will begin a serious study of scripture to find only to what degree I am commanded by my Lord Jesus Christ to embrace and ignore this particular lust.
And I say that in total open frank spirit of discussion on what the Lord really wants, and what perhaps HE doesn't.
I think such examinations are excellent for us all to learn further,
and I am farthest from perfect I have ever seen. But where the scripture cuts soul and spirit, I try to be in balance, and if anything, fall to the side of excessive Christianity, not excessive satanism. I'm sure you would agree that is the better part of valour.
But I haven't cracked a Bible yet, so I promise I will to see the exact rules wherein I must keep my thoughts on this matter. |
