Apple to Acquire MacInTouch Web Site Hmmmmmm, I find this an interesting read: "Apple's welfare is what really counts, not individual customers," said Ric Ford, Editor and CEO of the MacInTouch Web Site. "Negative news hurts Apple's profits, and we just can't let that continue. MacInTouch and Apple together will filter and control the customer message to build profitability. As we approach the millenium old-style, independent journalism is irrelevant and profit is the high-order bit. We can supress Mac problem reports and withhold unannounced news to maximize revenue and hold down costs."
