Agreed... the 1150 MHz LMDS band is more than plenty for any video+data+voice applications. I didn't catch Hardin's reasoning my first time through the article. Perhaps what he really meant to say is that there are much more efficient alternatives (such as MMDS) for providing wireless video services. I also believe LMDS operators will primarily concentrate in providing telephony and data services to businesses. In any case, residential video will be the very last thing (if at all) to be integrated into a LMDS network (with the exception of Cellularvision in NYC).

BTW, congratulations for winning the office pool on your prediction for the net proceeds of the LMDS auction.
