WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 1998-- NewCom, Inc. (NASDAQ:NWCM) announced today that it has received the 1997 Most Improved Vendor of the Year for Peripherals Award from Computer City(R), one of North America's largest computer superstore retailers.
The award was accepted by Brett Tarnet, NewCom's manager of channel marketing, at the GSM Meeting Vendor Showcase in Palm Springs, CA.
