freeus, the reason that valuation means nothing is that the valuation methods are inadequate to deal with growth. Not a single valuation method works in this regard, and if you insist on investing or shorting on that basis you will be talking yourself out of making a series of great investments in the former case and opening yourself up to being slaughtered in the latter case. I've repeatedly said: "Don't short on valuation".
