This just in:

Saddam Hussein got tired of the UN inspectors again so he went ahead and launched a SCUD missile to get things heated up a little. Fortunately the good guys were standing by, and fired up a Patriot missile in defense. Incredibly right before impact, a BANY hardcase popped out of the Patriot warhead and swallowed up the SCUD thereby containing the explosion.

And, just like you said, the latches didn't even budge.....

Man, those latches are tough!
