Jake, if that is truly the case, then it only goes to confirm the hypothesis that this exchange truly sucks. It would seem to me, since on the NASDAQ exchange the best bids and asks have to be publicly shown, that this kind of retail demand would increase the price dramatically. My own guess is that the MM's are trying to either accumulate or cover their short positions.

I think that it is absolutely ridiculous. There are long gaps in time where no trades are registered, and with a backlog? I hate the games on this exchange. If the merger happens, then we won't have to put up with this stuff. Also, it will be much cheaper than going for an initial listing.

Something else that someone posted that was interesting to me. Their is an interesting synergy between these two companies regardless of what briefing.com's too brief DD summary was, and this is it IMO:
Firamada's business of temp staffing and placements would seem to give an automatic step in the door for Atrix's business, or at least key contacts within their clients' organization. Knowing how big some of FAMH's clients are, this may be an additional enticement for the copy machines I mean, certainly not the vacuums :-).
