(1)Annual Review Of Activities
Each year, in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Newfoundland
Branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum,
the Survey hosts its Review of Activities. This is a day-long session
which includes presentation of papers in the morning and a poster
session in the afternoon. All Survey geologists are available during this
session to discuss their projects and assist, in any way, those who wish
to learn more about the geology of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The 20th Annual Review of Activities will take place on November 7,
1996, in conjunction with the CIM Newfoundland Branch Annual
Meeting.

Fall Meeting
The 43rd Annual Meeting of the Newfoundland Banch of the Canadian
Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum is scheduled for November
