Donald........I've been spending the last year or so trying to find such a stock with little luck. You used to be able to trade PEP and WMT that way (among others) but the market is SO dominated by large trading groups that when a market is being traded in a run, too many people jump on to really define a long term channel. The total lack of any real predictability in earnings estimates coupled with the designed and planned over-reaction to earnings announcements exacerbates the problem. I will continue my search, however, and applaud your efforts here. I think you have to find a stock where the effect of product pricing on the stock is reduced by th LACK of competition (ie....no need to compete with others through pricing) in a boring industry, and then PERHAPS play options, but I'd rather not go that route if at all possible.
