Hello John:

Yes, SUF has a jv relationship with Randgold. My point is - so RG has a new pres (RG is a huge company -- see Polarbear's message, etc) and this new pres speculates about the future of RG... RG's share prices gain 17% on the JSE as result of the speculation about "rationalization". Well done! So, on one project (M1) we have a jv with RG... Is the price of bread going to come down? I don't think so. Jv relationships are legally binding on ..."all successors and assigns..." So, why should we debate the +\- of the new pres of RG on this thread? This is the last piece I will contribute -- unless and until it affects SUF. And at present there's absolutely no evidence that the appointment of a new pres for RG has had any adverse effect on SUF. BTW, if RG has a cash-flow problems, perhaps SUF should buy them out...
