To all SPCO shareholders: I have been a shareholder/trader of SPCO off and on for the last two years. You may not be aware of the fact that Harvard Graphics, SPCO's used-to-be flagship product was a prime target title for counterfeiting in China, according to a Reuters wire bulletin I read about a year and a half ago, in reference to the results of an FBI report on that problem. Raise your hand if you ever saw any reference to that circumstance in any quarterly or annual report you've ever received from SPCO. I believe it's what precipitated the slide in the stock price from the $4-5 level it enjoyed around that time. Also, since no one has mentioned it on this thread, I'll assume none of you are aware that SPCO reached an agreement with Microsoft to bundle ASAP Web Show with MSFT's Internet Explorer Starter KIt as a stand-alone product, as well as with up-coming editions of Windows 95. If you visit SPCO's website, spco.com, under the link " About SPC " you can read the announcement for yourself. I found it quite by accident on the PR Newswire. Curiously, it never was announced on any of the other news services I monitor. The announcement was made 10/16/96, but the stock, to this day, has realized no positive price reaction that I've been able to detect. It's almost as if it's being kept secret. If you go to zdnet.com, and link to " PC Computing " magazine, you can read about the major upgrade to Windows 95 that is surely under development. This should provide a major revenue stream for SPCO/ANMI but SPCO shareholders may not be able to participate. I'm not sure SPCO shareholders will reap any of the benefits from this development. The price appreciation may not occur until SPCO is absorbed by ANMI, whose stock price continues to sink like rock. I bought my last block of SPCO at 1 1/4, so I'm at about break even on it now. I don't plan to stick aroud to get my .26-whatever shares of ANMI. It will just create confusion for me accounting-wise, and you all might think about that as well. It's probably better to purchase ANMI after the merger, if all its other business prospect look encouraging. Just my opinion.
