I agree as to the co.'s long-term prospects, and a turn around is possible by 1Q or 2Q, I'd say. But patience is definitely needed here due to the strong possibility of the 4Q '96 results mirroring that of the 2nd and 3rd qtr.'s. I really don't have a strong sense of when the stock will hit any certain level, as so much of it is dependent on when sales pick up again. The co.'s product line appear to be among the best w/in the industry. Now they have to go out there and start selling.
As far as the press release - after getting notice on my news service, Reality On-line (Reuters), of the quarterly results being announced, I went to Yahoo's quote page and punched up the detail quote for VTC, which also indicates news stories and press releases (which is where this came from). I find that for many of my stocks, I need to go through a similar process, as Reuters and Dow Jones only carry selected news and press releases, while going this route gets me maybe 90% of what I need to get, news-wise. |
