Some info on AMD from 9/26 WSJ: - 3rd qtr earnings below expectations - another delay in K5 chip from 1st qtr to 2nd qtr '96 - K5 will start at 75 MHz initially (Intel will be at 150 mghz by then) - Sanders still looking for faster chip in 3rd qtr '96 - AMD lowered its projection of K5 shipments for '96 to 3 million from 5 million Not a disaster--just disappointing to get more delays. Could be dead money for a while yet.
