I appreciate your comments. Since you know the company well,
what is your general opinion of Cabletron? They have always figured out how to compete. Do you think the company is still capable of turning things around? How bad are things really at the company? Are things as bad as the yahoo and SI seem to think? Cabletron has been such a top notch performer for so many years it is hard for me believe that the company is in that bad a condition. This last quarterly report was there first loss in years. I agree that they have had 3 bad quarters, but it seems to me that the networking sector in general is doing poorly. Networking certainly has a bright future. I would enjoy hearing your opinions.
