REIT Folks: sorry I haven't been posting for a couple of weeks... busy writing a book, but it's done now.

Regarding some of the REIT's and Trusts mentioned here recently: you know, you can't be right all the time, but if you're going to be wrong, you might as well be getting distributions to soften the pain.

A lot of REIT's seem to be tailing off just this month, but if you've got the cash to pay your 2nd instalment or, if you can hang in there and get your dividends while you make up your mind, you can still do OK. I think.

To Mr. Duck, I looked at the Pembina, but with limited cash, it's like being a kid in a candy store: couldn't decide if Pembina was the right one. Wanted to buy 1000 instalment receipts of the Superior Propane at $7.00 to reap the $440 dividend... but couldn't free up the cash. Was waiting for one of my other instalments to trade at a price I was comfortable selling... but it didn't come about. So there's one of the tricks with these entities: keep lots of cash on hand to harvest the bargoons. Easier said than done.

Keep those posts coming.
