[re: daytrading PLAT]
Magnifique,
Yesterday I'd tried my daytrading recommendation: bought at the opening at 24-7/8, sold around 10:30 at 25-5/8 (actually could've stayed longer to test 26 resistance, but 3/4 in 1 hour is good enough for me). That was my last experiment with PLAT for a while though. I am neither short, nor long and plan to wait out the market correction (similar to one in January) on the sidelines.
As for Briefing.com, they are probably more objective than regular sell side analysts. Yet, their conservative approach occasionally results in late calls, and I'd seen many of their (and, even worse, mine) favorites running into trouble.
It's like following Infrastructure recommendations on semi equipment manufacturers - C. Johnson is undoubtedly very knowledgeable, yet also quite cautious. So last week he warns about looming problems for front-end semiequips, and today virtually every stock in the sector is up 5-15%... Actually, today was a good day for me, since I was long CYMI, ASYT and SFAM.
Have fun in case I miss an up move in PLAT and good luck with your investments.
