The splits are there. The trick is to look at the comparison over 3 years instead of 5. Lowes was really in bad shape 5-6 years ago. Lowes is coming on strong however but the good thing is they will keep HD on their toes. A HD is being built within 1/2 mile of a Lowes that opened recently near where I live. It should be interesting to see what HD builds into this new store. quicken.com
