The CleanSweep news is actually Quarterdeck's Ace in the Hole. One thing Gaston Bastiaens did right was establish Quarterdeck as a truly international company. With the addition of Elia Shim licensing in ViruSweep and the Marubeni pact in Japan, the trend continues. While the European and Asian markets are behind the US, they are growing rapidly. Last quarter 25% of QDEK sales were international. The Asian flu may have put a crimp in 2nd quarter numbers in addition to delay to market of new products and the competition from Norton Uninstaller. However, the QDEK international name recognition should reap benefits down the road. If I am finally right, this price 1 3/4 is a great entry for the long run. Averaging down at this level can make a wrong long healthy by the power of multiples. So all you wrong longs should be buyers.
