Re: TRACE

Mohan,

I just read the following on Florida Today (Space Online).
It seems that the (early stages of the) launch was a success.

Update for 9:52 p.m. EST

An Orbital Sciences Pegasus XL rocket tonight successfully launched
NASA's Transition Region and Coronal Explorer, or TRACE. The
air-launched booster was released from the belly of an L-1011 carrier
jet at 9:42 p.m. EST (0242 GMT) off the coast of California. Aircraft
departure from Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., occurred at about
8:45 p.m. EST. The spacecraft is to spend at least a year studying
the Sun's outer atmosphere.
