Holy Mackeral, what happened to this thread. Haven't seen all these posts in a long time. What's up? <gg>

BB, you mentioned the South Africa conference. There is a 15 minute allocated presentation time that will be given by Ashton. All ears will be opened. This conference will be attended by many technical gurus from around the world who will probably debate the content of many presentations given by diamond exploration companies. The report may not be handed out to the public until it is approved. Not sure who will be attending from Ashton but I think Wayne H will be one of the reps attending. As you mentioned, this happens every four years and depending on the content of the report, it will bring extensive attention to Alberta. As well, the argument may be the lack of G10 in the chemistry of Alberta. Somehow, it is my speculative guess that since Ashton will be on the spotlight in Africa and this only happens every four years, I suspect that Ashton may release some information that will excite the 'brainers' in the audience. Ashton is not going to Africa to disclose unconfirmed research but at the same time they don't want to keep too much information away from the international diamond experts. Ashton Canada is the leader in Alberta diamond exploration and Ashton Australia is a known international diamond producing company therefore I don't think they intend to leave the conference without a 'mark' in the diamond industry. How much can they say? Don't know. I suspect they may keep a few secrets to themselves. IMO, all diamond companies keep a few secrets. <g>
