You may well be right in forecasting the Boom in ADSL. However the price movement I see in PAIR and ADTN,the market leaders,conveys a different story. Is there any reason why these stocks are not participating in that Boom.? I can't speak to ADTN, but I know PAIR stands as much to lose as gain by the advent of ADSL. While they claim they have an ADSL chip, they were slow to join the game and are considerably behind the other major players. Furthermore, their main product, HDSL, will be jeopardized by the faster technologies. As major contracts are awarded, there'll be a clearer distinction between the sheep and goats. Right now companies are still jockeying for position. Don't judge the health of DSL by PAIR and ADTN. Watch for telco contracts. And for news from the large carriers.
